DiveHubs Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-06-16
DiveHubs is a local-first skydiving logbook, proof, voice memo, and dropzone tool. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is used.
Data We Handle
DiveHubs may handle skydiving records, notes, signatures, proof requests, optional profile details, voice memo audio, QR code contents, local signing keys, public identifiers, and app diagnostics needed to run optional services.
DiveHubs does not request background location permission and is not designed for child-directed use.
Local-First Use
Core app use is local-first. You can create and review records without logging in. Local records, local identity, sync state, and app data are stored on your device unless you choose to use a service-backed feature.
Optional Service Use
When you use optional network features, DiveHubs may transmit the data needed for that action, such as email/session data for login, records or proof payloads for sync and verification, voice memo audio or transcript data for transcription, and map/data requests needed to show app content.
Permissions
- Camera access is used to scan QR codes for proof and signature workflows.
- Microphone access is used to record voice memos.
- Internet access is used for optional sync, authentication, proof, transcription, and map/data features.
Camera and microphone access are requested only when you use the related feature.
Sharing
DiveHubs does not include ads. The app shares data only when needed for a feature you use or when you choose to export, scan, sign, sync, or share a record/proof payload.
Retention and Deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, uninstall the app, or use an in-app deletion/export workflow where available. For service-backed data deletion requests, contact the support address listed in the Play Store listing or on the DiveHubs website.
Security
DiveHubs uses HTTPS for service requests and local cryptographic identity for signing and verification workflows. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so avoid storing sensitive personal information that is not needed for your skydiving records.
Contact
For privacy questions or data requests, contact the DiveHubs support address listed on the Google Play store listing or the DiveHubs website.
